Sorry - I'm used to using my Google account to log in to YouTube. With Google owning YouTube it means we use Google services to work with YouTube. So sometimes I get carried away and forget that not everything YouTube is Google.
If you're just using a YouTube login with ShoZu, then I'm afraid as I mentioned earlier you might have one of the YouTube accounts that Google's services for some reason don't work with. We're looking into the problem, but I'm afraid for the moment there's no easy solution in sight.
The only thing I can suggest in the meantime is to get a Googlemail account and link that to your YouTube account and then add it to ShoZu using the Googlemail login.

Okay I figured it out. You have to link your existing YouTube account to your Google account. This explains it:

First, sign in with your Google Account email and password
here Under the Member Login section:
1. Enter your existing YouTube Username and Password.
2. Click the "Link Accounts" button.
3. You'll be signed in and redirected to the YouTube homepage.
To see if your accounts are linked, follow the instructions below once you're signed in to YouTube:
1. Click the "My Account" link in the top right.
2. Under Account Settings, if you see the "Unlink YouTube and Google Accounts" link, you've successfully linked your Google Account with your YouTube Account
I have the same problem my youtube and google are linked, i put in my name and pass in shozu to add youtube and it fails over and over. Ready to give up i would love to use the app but its not working. I have had my youtube account far before it was purchased by google, is this the problem? should unlink the accounts?

My boyfriend has no problem with his youtube account as far as i can tell.
I'm having the same issue as everyone else.
I even went so far to add/delete/re-add/change my e-mail addresses both on ShoZu and Google/YouTube. I have YouTube set up w/my non-google sign in (even though gmail hosts my domain's e-mail) to work along side my google signin, yet I keep getting error message after error message.
Sorry if i'm doing something wrong and it's an easy fix, but I think for tonight, i'm done messing with it.

I have the same problem as anyone else:
1. It does not recognize my username and password for Youtube and is unable to validate.

I've even tried to make a new Youtube account - it didn't work neither .....
(By the way - I believe that this is a Youtube problem .... I have the same problem at other 3rd party upload sites)

I was finally able to upload to youtube after a night of messing around with it. Use your e-mail as the login on ShoZu's website and on your phone. I'm not sure if this helps, but I added YouTube as a regular upload site, as well as a Cc site just to make double sure.
The only issue i'm having now, but i've only tried it once, is the 'private' issue. I have to recheck my settings, but I thought I said make everything public, yet the video I uploaded came through private.
Good luck though. Not sure why they want the e-mail address as the login and not the login itself, but it worked for me.

The best advice seems to be to try both your username and your email and see which works. On some YouTube accounts it only works if you use your username, on other it only works if you use your email. We're not sure why this is, and we're working with Google to understand what's going on.
You mentioned the public/private setting on YouTube didn't seem to be working. We thought we'd fixed this, so if you're definitely having problems, please let me know so we can look into it again.

just tried uploading a new video to YouTube and before I did, I checked the settings on ShoZu's website and private WAS NOT checked. I just checked YouTube and the video is there, but it does say it's private!

P.S. I wish i had more time to sit and mess with ShoZu and add more sites and content, but i'm loving the program so far and i'm just using Flickr and YouTube at the moment!
